As Premier of New Brunswick, I want to welcome you to the second edition of the LearnNB Sourcebook. I am confident this publication will prove to be an invaluable resource, detailing the companies, services, and incredible knowledge that can be found in New Brunswick's learning industry.
Our government has set New Brunswick on a path to self-sufficiency by the year 2026. To achieve this goal we must diversify our economy, building on our traditional industries while seeking out new opportunities in areas such e-Learning and the knowledge industry.
We have recognized that education is a key ingredient in achieving long-term self-sufficiency in New Brunswick. Our goal is to become a national leader in education, building the best system in the country. We will achieve this goal by supporting organizations like LearnNB, which advocates for strong partnerships and collaboration to develop new learning opportunities.
LearnNB, the private sector and our educational institutions, are coming together and leading the way to further learning in New Brunswick. With new goals and a new vision for education in our province, we can accomplish great things together.
I would like to congratulate LearnNB as it delivers the second edition of this excellent resource. It is a fine example of the talent and knowledge we have here in the Province of New Brunswick.
Shawn Graham
Premier
